Our wine
As archaeological excavations show, wine production in the Maremma has a long history. Wine was exported over the sea by the Etruscans to the whole of Europe. The process from the grape to the bottle is still labour intensive. The secret of good wine is the attention to many details combined with a passion for the basics when working in the vineyard and the Cantina.
Organic grape production, the most modern technology, and tradition are the cornerstones of our wine production. We use local varieties that best reflect the character of the Maremma. Organic crop protection is not just good for the grapes, it is good for whole ecosystem. Our aim is wine with character that contributes to cuisine where quality is appreciated.
